What we have been working on lately 2/28/25

Ascension Tracks has been a  bustling place lately. There have been lots of fantastic song orders that I have been trying to stay on top of. I am nearly done with Wintley Phipps’ “My Child.” His music has wonderful orchestration. I just finished “That’s How The Good Lord Works” by The Sunday Service Choir. It proved more challenging than expected. I recently began Kierra Sheard’s “Save Me” and the calypso inspired “Sing Unto The King” by Bishop Leonard Scott. Also, I started “You Reign” by Youthful Praise which has a nice up tempo rockin feel to it with some clever syncopation. I’m also close to finishing “Tout Glwa”  which means All the Glory in Haitian creole , by the group Gospel Kreyol. It features prominent strings and a driving beat .

I am also working on a couple Chris Blue songs. Chris Blue has been a featured singer with The Gaither Vocal band recently and I just finished up their version of “Can’t Even Walk” as well as “Master The Tempest is Raging”

Recent website uploads include Jessy Dixon’s classic song “Gone.” You can also find Kim Hopper’s “Joy Unspeakable” and William McDowell’s “Presence Of The Lord.” Other new uploads are Brooklyn Tabernacle’s “At the Cross,” “Grateful” by the Gaithers, and “Authority” by Lamar Campbell.
