frequently asked question

I just bought a track. How do I download it?

After the payment is made , you should get a screen with a blue download link for your song which will bring you to a dropbox or Google drive page. Simply click on the download symbol (looks like a downward arrow) to download it directly to your device. You will also get the proof of payment with the download link in your email

That’s fine. Alot of churches and solo artists still use CD players. We charge an additional $5 for the CD and postage. If you ordered more than one song we can put all of the songs on the same CD so you just pay the $5 the one time. There is no automated way to request a CD so you would have to call or email. I would just need your mailing address.

Absolutely. Just call or email and I will give you the mailing address and I will email you the mp3 directly.

Right now almost all of the Christian accompaniment tracks are instrumental only. I build all of the instrumentals from scratch so the only way to add the backing vocals would be for me to hire a singer . If you absolutely need backing vocals on your track I can hire a singer on your behalf and work as a liaison ( I don’t charge for that) . You would just be responsible for the singers fee which would be agreed on before any work was done.

The reason that we do have a few tracks with BGV is because we have a proceeds splitting agreement with a couple singers for tracks that they add vocals to. That is really the only cost-effective way for us to have tracks with BGV. If you are a choir or a singer who is good with harmonies and would be interested in that type agreement please contact us.

Stems are the songs in multitrack format. So every instrument is its own distinct file. You could then load them into a DAW like Pro Tools Or Cubase and have control over the mix. Lets say your church has a keyboard player and a guitar player but not a full band. You could play the instrumental but pull out the keyboards and guitar so the live players can play those parts

Absolutely. Many of the accompaniment songs I already have separated out as stems but they just are not posted. If we don’t have the song you want available as stems yet I can do it on request, usually the same day. Just call or email.

As far as I am concerned, absolutely. I create my tracks to be used. Keep in mind that these are cover songs and I am not the copyright holder. The mechanical licenses we obtain are to clear cover songs to be sold as digital downloads by Ascension Tracks. If you are planing to record and sell cover songs purchased from our company or any other company you may need to obtain a mechanical license . A great resource for this is www.easysong.com
